2skyhawkSkyhawk sent a top-notch team to the 2015 Wireless Infrastructure Show, the industry’s premier event focusing on mobile infrastructure for 4G and beyond. Steve Ebenhack, Chris Hubbard, and Andrew Scarano traveled to Hollywood, Florida for the conference and trade show, which was held April 27-30 at the Diplomat Resort & Spa.

A trademark of the Wireless Infrastructure Show is the high concentration of industry insiders and decision makers. “People are focused on making deals and getting things done. They’re here to get down to business and this is the kind of environment Skyhawk thrives in,” said Ebenhack.

It was Chris Hubbard’s fifth trip to the event and, after landing a solid number of leads, he and the team are already seeing a tremendous response. Not only are the follow up calls being well received, Hubbard says that the contacts they made are showing initiative and reaching out to the Skyhawk team. Hubbard says, “This is a great sign and I can truly say 2015 is our most successful show. There was more optimism than I’ve ever seen with regards to the industry’s outlook.”

He attributes the renewed enthusiasm to expectations from industry veterans who foresee the big carriers releasing work orders that will greatly benefit companies like Skyhawk. This, in addition to a recent move by the FCC to adopt new 3.5 GHz spectrum sharing tools and policies, will help ease the wireless data crunch and open up tremendous possibilities in mobile broadband. Hubbard noted, “DAS systems in particular are about to explode.”
